Fear of the dark

As I lay,
All alone in a dark room,
Scared to death.

A flash back hits,
Back then the only way out,
Was one not to be forgotten,
The only answers you need,
Are in the cries of shame,
Searching in the darkness,
With great power,
And shock,
Something’s are best left alone.

History,
Only repeats itself,
In the dark for me,
That’s why,
I’m afraid of the dark.

A flash back hits,
Back then the only way out,
Was one not to be forgotten,
The only answers you need,
Are in the cries of shame,
Searching in the darkness,
With great power,
And shock,
Something’s are best left alone.

The walls start to close,
In as history repeats itself,
More often,
The walls collapse,
The air’s thin,
History’s killing me,
It’s the thing.

A flash back hits,
Back then the only way out,
Was one not to be forgotten,
The only answers you need,
Are in the cries of shame,
Searching in the darkness,
With great power,
And shock,
Something’s are best left alone.
