I’m writing you this to say something,
I’ve been longing to say to you,
It’s not some dumb thing,
Like most things I say.
You left me,
Laying on the pavement,
With my heart ripped out of my chest,
Laying beside me,
Slowly losing its beat.
You walked away,
And then came back,
You had me thinking you were coming,
To save me,
But instead you stomped on my heart.
You left me,
Laying on the pavement,
With my heart ripped out of my chest,
Laying beside me,
Slowly losing its beat.
I looked up to see you,
Smiling at me,
I watch you walk away for,
The last time,
I look at my heart,
Smeared all over the pavement,
You don’t care what you did,
Just as long as I was gone,
No one would know.
You left me,
Laying on the pavement,
With my heart ripped out of my chest,
Laying beside me,
Slowly losing its beat.
