love and regret

Due on the grass,
And the sweet aroma of flowers,
Filling the air.

With love in my heart,
And regret in my head,
I'll feed this need,
To re-take,
The words that I said.

On this 5 am button,
I awoke to a coo,
Birds of all sorts were heard down my flour,
It was then that I realized,
The coo came from a human.

With love in my heart,
And regret in my head,
I'll feed this need,
To re-take,
The words that I said.

Upon this awakening,
A river suddenly erupted,
But it only truly lived once.

With love in my heart,
And regret in my head,
I'll feed this need,
To re-take,
The words that I said.

Soon gone forever,
But not this love,
Soon banished for good,
No not this time,
Soon destined to die,
But not tonight.

With love in my heart,
And regret in my head,
I'll feed this need,
To re-take,
The words that I said.

Two different people,
Torn from different cloths,
Finding out who they should be,
And among all this mischief,
The love remains the same.

With love in my heart,
And regret in my head,
I'll feed this need,
To re-take,
The words that I said.

I’ve found me a boy,
Oh,
I've found me a boy,
And there's a million more,
The same in this world,
But the love remains the same.

With love in my heart,
And regret in my head,
I'll feed this need,
To re-take,
The words that I said.

Just picture yourself,
Old and grey like a towel,
Textured and laid out,
To dry,
Now soak up your water your colors' restored,
And now happily you can die.

With love in my heart,
And regret in my head,
I'll feed this need,
To re-take,
The words that I said.

A wonder-us bond,
How it cracks and it crinkles,
Never would it be quite the same,
At least not like this love,
Oh no,
At least not like this love,
Oh no,
At least not like this love.

With love in my heart,
And regret in my head,
I'll feed this need,
To re-take,
The words that I said.

For this love remains the same,
How this love remains the same,
This love is exactly insane.

With love in my heart,
And regret in my head,
I'll feed this need,
To re-take,
The words that I said.
